[MacPerl] Need tutor in SF

I need a Perl tutor (willing to pay, of course) to help me through some
rough spots. I'm teaching myself but getting stuck on topics (@_, $_,
subroutines, variable declarations, filehandles). Anyone in San
Francisco who can help? Minimal time commitment. An hour here or there.
I'm pretty desperate. I'm diligently working my way through Randy's
"Learning Perl on Win32" but doing all the exercises in MacPerl (and
sometimes Unix).
