I've had a NetPresenz setup running for some time for just the purposes of testing scripts (mostly not CGI's; rather, using SMTP and FTP and HTTP and all that, which works fine) locally. I just wrote a short little HTML form and a MacPerl CGI script to process it, and it worked out fine. I'm using OpenTransport 1.3, TCP/IP running over AppleTalk, machine IP 192.168.1.1. I re-checked my Control Panel settings, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. That is, nothing is bizarre. :-) Just a thought - do you have CGI Enabled checked off in NetPresenz Setup? Also, and this is just personal preference, for testing I've had less problems with Internet Explorer than with Netscape (mind you, I'm using the previous generation of both, also as a preference). But both browsers work.
