[MacPerl] using the cygnus mac port to compile perl native distrib ?

Hi,

I ve seen on ftp://ftp.cygnus.com/pub/mac/ some tools that seems to
emulate unix on the mac (with the help of mpw of course).
And i was thinking to myself, perhaps it is possible to use the native
distrib of perl and compile it for mac...

Is there anybody who have idea, try, ....
