I just want to chime in and say that once you've formatted the message and named it appropriately, you've already gone through the same amount of detail-mucking you would do with Mail::Send with Net::SMTP. The primary benefit to this solution, though, is that MacPerl doesn't have to sit there and send each mail, it can let EIMS do it instead, which is not a big deal usually, but it a very big deal for many messages. It can also be a big deal when a server cannot be found and the message needs to be resent later, etc. -- Chris Nandor mailto:pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ %PGPKey = ('B76E72AD', [1024, '0824090B CE73CA10 1FF77F13 8180B6B6']) ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
