No. G3 is PPC. There might be cause to optimize for various PPCs, but not for G3 or PPC. G3 is PPC 750. I have four PPCs in my house: PPC 601 (7100), PPC 603 (PowerBook 540 w/ PPC upgrade), and two PPC 750s (PowerBook G3/292 and iMac rev. B). They are all PPCs.
