I use MacPerl just as the PERL name implies, as an extraction tool. I specifically use it to extract semiconductor test data from some god awful DR-DOS based test system (and others), extract, massage and output the data to a TEXT file formatted for input into data analysis apps (pro Fit, KaleidaGraph, Data Desk, Excel, etc.). ---------------------- Mark J.
