Hi, I've been thinking of getting MkLinux for my Mac. (I can't run LinuxPPC on my 6116, it's incompatible). I went to Apple's MkLinux site and they said I could order the CD from Prime Time Freeware's website. You can download it for free there, but it's pretty hefty. They offer a package deal of 2 CD's and a book for $50. Seeing as how I'm a student (and pretty cheap :) and the fact that they even recommend borrowing the CD's from a friend, I was wondering if anyone knew a cheaper way to get this software. I already sent an email to MacAddict asking them to put it on the disc, but that could take months and they probably wont do it. BTW, I haven't gone looking for one yet, but is there a script out there that will convert MacPerl scripts to regular perl scripts?
