If you can, you might want to wait a little while. The available CD is pretty old...a new release is in the process of happening. It's not clear whether it will be a PrimeTime thing (if it is, the newer CD would probably be your free update as is probably still offered in the book). There is no simple upgrade path from the old to the new (the code libraries are incompatible), so even if you install "DR3" (the available CD) and update it to the latest compatible kernel, you're still looking at nuking nearly everything and starting over. The mailing lists which should be mentioned at Apple's site are still active...you might want to pick one or two out and subscribe. --John (a version of Perl comes with DR3...there: "on topic" whew!)
