Still impressed! Quite a lot of work in order to get > "Mac::AppleEvents:Simple" going. Thank you Chris! Well, cpan-mac involves quite alot more than that, but Chris *has* been busy. Cpan-mac was supposed to bring MacPerl users all the convenience of the CPAN shell that Unix folks have had for a while. Does it succeed at that? Having only lived without it for a very few months, it's hard for me to say (I scarcely recall life without it!) As Chris pointed out, it was a bad move to make Mac::AppleEvents::Simple dependant on cpan-mac, and he'll probably undo that. Even better is Mac::Glue (Hokay, I'm on a glue binge! ;-) -- call it "Mac::AppleEvents::EvenMoreSimple". Why bother to construct even the most simplified AppleEvents when you can drag&drop your apps onto "gluemac" and just start scripting? Chris really *has* been busy. --B # Brian McNett Fungal Parataxonomy # Webmaster, Staff Writer Mycology Information (Mycoinfo) # **The World's First Mycology E-Journal** # <mailto:webmaster@mycoinfo.com> <http://www.mycoinfo.com/> # First they ignore you.
