Re: [MacPerl] MacPerl installation, folders

Matthias,

I tried to use the Quicktime-4 installer, and, since I don't have
the most reliable modem-ISP connection,
I was unsuccessful -- the connection kept dropping, and the installer
seemed to lose track of what it was doing.
So -- I'm still running QuickTime-3.

I think a 'fat' MacPerl is still a good idea, as there is at least one
local network with both 68K and PPC machines on it.

Putting the add-on's in a subdirectory is a good idea as long as the user
could control which version of MacPerl he got (big static 68K vs CMF68K),
or the perl checked for an active CMF68K automagically.

Yup. Yup. Yup.
