I use ToolServer/MPW/diff to produce patches to distribute to others; however, Mark-Jason Dominus has a diff written in perl that should work in MacPerl with minimal changes (if it requires any). http://search.cpan.org/search?dist=Algorithm-Diff The module works without change on MacPerl, according to the CPAN Testers report, but the diff tool may require edits.
