I'm going to reload the whole suite and try again. The first go-through,
MakeMaker generated a DynaLoader:MakeFile.mk that included the mpeix files.

Ok - I'l go back and undo that.

Yes I note that switch is included in BuildRules' MPWOpt . Thanks, that
clarifies.

CFM68K dynamic builds didn't work very well with the free MPW tools even
under 5.004. I had about a one in three success rate. With the failures, I
had to rely upon someone with the CodeWarrier Suite.

After a number of tries, I can inform you that in my configuration (Quadra
610, MacOS 7.6, 68K and using SC/MrC) both the miniperl and the perl
generated, fail. Most of the time, the system is frozen beyond the point
where Macsbug can produce a Stdlog.

The versions of miniperl and perl produced by Codewarrior (perl.68K and
miniperl.68K) work better - failures are not so catastrophic as to prevent
producing a Stdlog file.

I would like to try skipping making the {mini}perl tools with SC/MrC. Using
the .68K versions, see if SC can do the rest of the dynamic build.
Does this sound useful?
