  Are you sure it was the value for gmtime(0), not localtime(0)?  My system
is 7.5.3 + KanjiTalk (Somewhat strange;  Took me a couple of ResEdit hacks t
o make it work but it's pretty close to such Environment running on JLK--Onl
y difference is the names of fonts).  And my MacPerl's version is  5.0.7r1m.
 And I found the same problem on both Duo 280c and PM 7500....
