(From MacWorld.) Without the new microkernel you won't get any of the preemptive multitasking or memory protection which is so needed today. I love my mac, but if Apple isn't going to have a serious competitor with win32 until 1998, then Macs are in trouble. Back to our regularly scheduled discussion topic... cheers, -david kulp.
