Hi, I have been trying to resolve this problem for a while with no success. I am running the following configuration: - Workgroup Server 8550/132 - System 7.5.3 - AppleShare 4.2.1 - MacPerl 5.1.0r2 - WebStar 1.2.5 If AppleShare is running, then all the MacPerl CGIs hang & MacPerl crashes with a Type 3 error. The strange thing is that if I do the following, then the CGIs will run correctly: (1) Start WebStar (2) Start MacPerl (3) Execute a MacPerl CGI from a client via WWW browser (executes without an error) - Starting the cgi from the server does not help; it must be executed via a client (4) Start AppleShare Once the four steps are completed then MacPerl CGIs will run WITHOUT error as long as I don't unload MacPerl. Once I quit and reload MacPerl then all the scripts begin to error again until a go through the above process again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, doug
