>(Attaching PGP signatures >to unimportant mails or posting, BTW, is the Internet's equivalent of >"Kick me, I'm a nerd" :-). But seriously, such practice has a very good value. PGP supports privacy. In this digical age, just about everything is open to the prying eye of large organizations. By attaching a PGP key in one's signature, the person broadcasts her adovcacy to privacy. This gesture is the similar to those who like to attach a piece of quotations, but a nobler one, or even practical. (for those interested, see www.pgp.com) Possibly there are people who prefer a world of no secrecy in the extreme, but I think most of us would prefer our personal lives stay personal. If so, we must act. Our environments depends on how we make of it. PS as a side note, I just want to add my personal "vote" that I wish not to receive any vcards or attachments. Many people subscribe to lots of mailing lists, receiving large volumes of emails, some are critical. Please stay on topic, be terse, and avoid attachments if you can. (not a complain. Thanks everyone.)
