[wink] Sigh. Once again, I desparately wish for this to be a list where _MacPerl users_ can ask questions that might, just might, be considered _Perl_ questions. Sometimes too succinctly. And not always politely. (And personally, I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to read the net (still looking for a net to mail gateway program...)). Why should we throw our new friends, other Macophiles just like us, to the wolves of comp.lang.perl.misc just because their question isn't stretched to make it Mac OS specific? Even if the answer is "it's in perlfoo.pod" (or, in our case, under the Help menu under Foo), that's a lot nicer than the response someone's likely to get in some other circles ("Look in the FAQ, dummy" doesn't quite follow Larry's ultimate rule of Perl style, c.f. The Camel, p. 550). sigh. Sometimes I think we need another list. - Vicki --- Vicki Brown <vlb@cfcl.com> |\ _,,,---,,_ Journeyman Sourceror ZZZzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ Scripts & Philtres |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-' P.O.
