Archive::Tar can extract all the files in Unicode-Map8-0.06-bin-1-Mac.tgz, and mcvert (forgot I had that here) seems to be happy enough with Map8.bin. But as you say, the other *.bin I try are corrupt (why are they .bin anyway?). When I turn on -w, I get the same warnings that Georg got. So everything is consistent, I just forgot I could check the MacBinary here, and forgot -w in the Archive::Tar script. Hey, wait, are all those other *.bin actually MacBinaries, or are they files that happen to have the .bin extension for some other reason? On the plus side, XML-Parser seems to be correct. } } -- } Chris Nandor mailto:pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ } %PGPKey = ('B76E72AD', [1024, '0824090B CE73CA10 1FF77F13 8180B6B6']) } -- Paul Schinder schinder@pobox.com ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-modules-request@macperl.org
